Approaching Safety: Mini Video Series

Aviation is dynamic, thrilling, rewarding, and essential - it’s our collective industry. We’re all part of a global community whose work spans across many different verticals, and often modelled on by many other industries for our safety standards.

However, there can be situations that are sometimes out of our control, and often factors we don’t even think to consider.

How do you best identify hazards and risks? What processes do you have in place to help mitigate, measure, control and reduce these? How do you instill safety as part of your team’s culture?

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be releasing a short video series about Safety Management Systems and Safety Culture, in collaboration with Kodey Bogart of KB Solutions, LLC, whose experiences also see her as a trained pilot, and respected industry leader. She will be answering some of these questions, and providing suggestions to help you improve areas in your own organisation.
