Spidertracks Announces Sponsorship With Eco Helicopters
Spidertracks is proud to announce our partnership with Eco Helicopters (“Eco”), which recently announced the launch of its Ecomax™ on-demand urban air mobility service.
Based on the EcoMax™ all-electric helicopter, EcoMax™ urban air mobility will commence in early 2021. Learn more about the EcoMax™ and on-demand urban air mobility here.
Eco’s corporate offices are located at the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership Innovation Hub and Accelerator Campus, with Ecomax™ on-demand services initially available in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Eco’s CEO, Captain Ric Webb states “Spidertracks is an important technology to incorporate into EcoMax™ urban air mobility service. It will provide access to real-time, actionable fleet data, enabling efficient on-demand scheduling and will also assist in making pro-active safety decisions.”
Eco Helicopters chose the revolutionary Spider X from Spidertracks for their world record-breaking aircraft, an electrically powered Robinson R44 helicopter developed by Tier 1 Engineering and Martine Rothblatt. A certified version of the electric R44 is being developed to provide zero-emissions delivery of human organ transplants by United Therapeutics. With zero in-flight carbon emissions, advanced avionics, and with performance comparable to a traditionally powered R44, Eco will be on the vanguard of Eco-friendly urban air mobility service.
“The partnership between Eco Helicopters and Spidertracks is very exciting, and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship,” says Captain Webb, “We chose Spidertracks for this venture because of their solid and trusted reputation in the industry and because they offer the latest in safety technology.”
Teaming with its marketing partner KiloWatt Aviation, ownership opportunities are available to place the EcoMax™ into urban air mobility service. Contact KiloWatt to learn how you can participate in the green aviation revolution, fielding a zero-emissions EcoMax™ quickly and affordably.
